WHAT do a good sex life and good food have in common?
Plenty it seems !
Scientists are delving into this area with increasing enthusiasm and
they have every reason. The quality of sex for the average Westerner
is on the wane. Sperm counts have never been so low since records
were opened.
Both partners seem to be so much more toxic these days that the
organs (and the mind) are compromised. They are simply not getting
enough nutrients.
You-can't expect to live off “fast foods”, sandwich lunches and
daily tots of alcohol, copious cups of coffee and snacking for those
mid-morning and mid-afternoon cravings and then expect to turn on
the performance of your life throughout the night.
Examine your quality intake of the amino acid histamine if you
expect "org-asm" to be a double-barrel word. Found in the glands of
the penis and the clitoris, it needs careful replacing, but if you
don't replace it after use, it could well let you both down.
It is found in apples, pineapple, papaya, all nuts, sunflower seeds,
spinach and cauliflower, so ask yourself if you are getting enough.
It is also associated with mental tranquillity, but, like all good
things in life, it has its opposite number - in excess it causes
premature ejaculation.
In balance, it is said to help unblock feelings of inadequacy, anger
and guilt in a sexual relationship. Supplementation of histamine
comes via one of the 10 essential amino acids, called histidine.
Energy release to the body's muscles, including the heart, is
closely linked with another amino acid (a non-essential) known as
carnitine. It is actually made in the liver, but if yours has been a
little "sorry for itself” recently, supplementation can be obtained
in powder, pill or capsule form.
A dry vagina is helped by GLA capsules and flaxseed oil or capsules.
Both are freely available. If you start taking them, include some
vitamin E and selenium to avoid any possible free-radical oxidation.
SEXUALITY can always be increased, the experts tell us. So there is
never a need to feel inadequate. If, as a male, you feel outclassed,
look to some extra zinc picolinatee and phenylalanine to generate
extra libido.
Over the centuries herbs have played an endearing and positive role
in the battle between the sexes. If available in your country, I'd
suggest adding a little damiana into your life, but it's not always
available. So, next best, look to Siberian (or other) ginsengs,
saffron, slippery elm, hops, sage, willow, scullcap - some choice
names here.
For more serious conditions, like impotence, saw palmetto is a good
catch. For infertility (her) don quai and infertility (him) false
unicorn - the names get even better!
Frigidity stands to be melted by chick-weed, plantain and saffron.
For other areas that may need attention:
- INCREASING DESIRE: phenylalanine, tyrosine, slipperv elm.
- DECREASING DESIRE: hops, sage, scullcap, willow.
- LOW SPERM COUNT: amino acid complex, ornithine, lysine.
- STRESS/WORRY: phenylalanine, magnesium, calcium,
vitamin C.
- CLUMSY AT IT!: glycine, B complex and extra vitamin B6.
- HE WORRIES HE WONT MAKE IT: niacin, zinc, histidine, B6 (15
minutes before trying)
- PREMATURE EJACULTION: amino acid complex, magnesium / calcium
complex and a diet that increases raw food intake daily.
- VAGINAL THRUSH: Tea tree oil
Have a good night, and may your dreams come true.
