  Cinnamon
CHARACTERISTICS:
Essential oil from the leaves has a spicy, somewhat harsh odour
and is dark yellow in colour. Extraction from the inner bark,
produces a paler liquid with a sweeter, dryer aroma.

MAIN USES:
Cinnamon is a warming oil, particularly suitable for those who
have lost their enthusiasm for life, and are constantly overcome
by fatigue. Cinnamon oil is wonderful for use in massage,
vaporization, and hand and foot baths.

CAUTIONS:
- Leaf oil:
Relatively non-toxic
- Bark oil:
Dermal irritant and toxin (should never be used on the skin)
- Cinnamon has been known to irritate the mucous membranes,
so should therefore never be used in general bathing or applied
to the face.
