Day Dreaming
Day-dreaming plays an important part in a creative mind, and is
common to human behaviour. During day-dreaming your child will most
probably be acting out certain wishes or fears, and there is nothing
wrong with this, provided it doesn't hamper his social or
intellectual life. Many children may use day-dreaming as a way of
blocking out certain aspects of their lives, and may at the time
seem totally distracted. If you find this becoming a problem, and
you are unable to always gain your child's attention, as he stares
blankly into space, it may suggest that you need to seek medical
advice.
