Colostrum provides essential nutrients for life-support, growth and ensures the health and vitality of the newborn. Colostrum is the thick pre-milk fluid produced by the mother during the first few hours after birth While humans produce small amounts of Colostrum, a cow produces approximately 36 gallons during the first 36 hours after giving birth. Colostrum:  Blueprint for your Immune System

Colostrum is the thick pre-milk fluid produced by the mother during the first few hours after birth. It provides essential nutrients for life-support, growth and ensures the health and vitality of the newborn. While humans produce small amounts of Colostrum, a cow produces approximately 36 gallons during the first 36 hours after giving birth. Each drop contains the promise of life in a natural balance of immunoglobins*, growth factors, antibodies, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids and other special substances all designed to strengthen the body to face a lifetime of attacks by various harmful microorganisms and environmental toxins.

In a world which is becoming more and more environmentally dangerous in terms of pollution, herbicides, allergens, and chemical and biological fallout, together with radiation levels increasing and a whole host of toxic contaminants, we see an exponential rise in the number of allergic conditions amongst the old and the young.

Once the teenage years are reached the quantity of immune and growth factors our bodies produce lessens. This becomes more pronounced in adults and we see a reduction in energy levels, a vulnerability to disease, skin loses its elasticity, and weight gain and muscle tone decline.

Recently a test was undertaken on a South African lion-breeding farm between two sets of lion cubs. While the mother fed one set naturally, the other set had been reared by hand using a bottle. The two sets were born within a day or two of one another. The difference between the two groups was clear; those which had been mother-fed were better developed, sleeker, stronger, more active, as well as being 10% larger physically. The second group looked good until you looked at the first group.
The late 50s, 60s and 70s introduced the fashion in most western countries of bottle-feeding as ‘better’ than breast-feeding and many of today’s adults were not given the benefit of Colostrum at their mother’s breast.

Colostrum is one of the most important health-giving, disease-fighting and anti-ageing ‘complete-foods’ ever discovered.  And Bovine Colostrum is remarkably compatible for human consumption. The ability of the body to metabolise fat, build lean muscle mass and bring about the rejuvenation of skin and muscle is a clear benefit. Unlike other supplements, which when taken in misguided dosages can lead to imbalances and cause further problems, Colostrum is always a perfect combination.

G&G's Colostrum is sourced from the recognised superior source of New Zealand cows and is now available in Trufil ™ capsules and powder!

* Immunoglobins, also known as antibodies, are proteins found in blood and in tissue fluids. Immunoglobins are produced by cells of the immune system.
