FOOD COMBINING

The most abused factor in modern eating is wrong food combining.
Most people lack will-power and education. Name a restaurant that serves proper combinations - even a health food restaurant. This takes the edge off proper digestion and leads most of us into a pending cumulative stage of disease - if we have not already reached that stage. If eating the finest quality foods they are not properly digested the body will soon wither and the bowels become impacted.

Richard Penfounde recommends looking at the Food Combining Package (GP693) from G&G

RULE 1

Do not combine any of the following in any one meal. This means that when at a restaurant during your entire sitting there

  • Protein
  • High starch
  • Fats
  • Sugars
  • Fruits

RULE 2

Do not combine fruits and vegetables.

RULE 3

Do not combine sub acid fruits with sweet fruits

RULE 4

Eat leafy green vegetables, non starchy vegetables and sprouts together but do not mix with more than one other category chosen only from

  1.  Protein Foods
  2.  Fats and Oils
  3.  Starchy Vegetables
  4.  High Starch Foods

RULE 5

Eat melons alone.

RULE 6

Do not drink liquids 20 minutes prior to a meal or up to an hour after.

RULE 7

Avoid drinking liquids out of the fridge or with ice or too hot as the extremes compromise the digestive system.

Eat only if hungry when ill

RULE 9

Avoid eating on the following occasions:

  • Immediately before strenuous exercise.
  • Immediately after strenuous exercise
  • When under physical stress

Chew each mouthful as many times as possible - certainly no less than 20 times.

RULE 11

Stop eating before you arrive at the 'Over-Eating' stage.

  • Fats and Oils - are best with leafy green and non-starchy vegetables.
  • High Starch Foods - are best with leafy green and non-starchy vegetables.
  • Starchy Vegetables - are best with leafy green and non-starchy vegetables.
