Hepatitis B: Infection is spread via blood, unprotected sexual contact,
shared needles, shared razors, non-sterilised medical and dental equipment.

Hepatitis C: Spread by contaminated blood transfusions or shared needles

Hepatitis D: Transmitted by blood and body fluids - chronic carriers of "B". Risk to travellers is basically limited.

LIFESTYLE ATTENTION

  • Avoid any form of alcohol including medicines with alcohol as a base.
  • Drastically reduce intake of saturated fats, dairy products, fried foods, white flour products, sugar, red meats, usual supermarket chickens, etc.
  • Increase intake of vegetables, beans, peas, fruits. These have been researched as elimination encouragers of bile acids and toxins that accumulate in the liver and gall bladder.
  • Go for all food sources that are organic or free range only. These sources decrease liver overload of processing chemicals used in growing, canning and refrigeration methods.
  • Do not consume any supplemental minerals that originate from an inorganic source.
  • Drink only distilled or reverse osmosis filtered water - nothing else.
