This method is particularly useful when treating sinus, chest and
throat infections, and can be easily made-up by adding a few drops
of essential oil to a bowl of steaming water. The patient sits with
his/her head over the bowl, covering both bowl and head with a
towel, inhaling deeply for a few minutes. Aromatic baths also offer
a fair amount of inhalation, but obviously not in such a
concentrated form. Steam inhalations also act as a facial cleaner,
by helping to unclog the pores thus clearing the complexion.
